About the Author
Janelle Breese Biagioni is Atticus's grandmother. She is
also grandmother to Sampson and Greyson.
She has published nine books including: Beyond
Chocolate: The Sweeter Side of Life, A Change of Mind:
One Family's journey through Brain Injury, and Life
Losses: Healing for a Broken Heart. Her vignettes are
published in Chicken Soup for the Grieving Soul and
Chicken Soup for the Father and D aughter Soul. Janelle's
articles have also been published in the Grief D igest,
Living with Loss, Headline, and Brain Injury journey
magazines.
She has another children's book called Atticus Goes
to School.
Janelle also appeared in, A Change of Mind, a documentary on the societal impact of
brain injury.
She is a national speaker and devoted advocate to improving the lives of those living
with the outcome of brain injury, mental health, and addictions.
